1. There was a brief rain shower before the Josh Groban
outdoor concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater.
As the Colorado Symphony warmed up, a partial rainbow glowed in the dusky sky.
The pot of gold was Josh - what a talent!
2. I like whimsy.
Bunnies make me smile.
3. We biked the west side of Vail Pass this week -
11 miles of hard breathing going up and 11 miles of smiling on the way down.
Afterward, Bob took me for lunch in Vail (La Tour).
I saw this cute town bike in the village.
Who knew John Deere makes bikes?
Mine isn't this charming, but it made it up the pass!
4. Wildflowers are blooming in Colorado.
They're balm for my snow-weary eyes.
5. Someday soon (I hope), we'll be eating our very own home-grown tomatoes.
I'm growing 3 varieties in the narrow side space between our house and the next in the city.
The Early Girl is producing.
(We chose it because when our 10 year old granddaughter was younger,
she called herself an "early girl" when she woke us before dawn.)
The two heirloom varieties are growing tall but still no fruit.
